While some retailers adding a hefty sum on each piece to off set the shipping fee and then offer you free shipping, Berkshire Furniture gives you the advantage of very low prices on every item and then give you the choice to either have it shipped for a fee or pickup for yourself. Bellow is a list of our shipping services.
Our white glove service is second to none. With this service we deliver, bring the merchandise inside your house, remove from boxes, set them all up and clean the debris. Please make sure to provide clear access to delivery men. Oh, and one very important thing: Many people when they see an item in a large store they think thats how it will look like at their home. Unless your home is as large as the store, other wise the piece will look much larger then you thought. So please, before purchasing, map out the item with painters tape on your floor and see physically how much space it takes. That way you will be sure you have made the right decision. Shipping Rate
Standard delivery is "One Delivery Man" service and offered for those customers who wish to pay a lower fee for delivery. Standard delivery means we bring your furniture to your door or curbside/driveway. Setup is not included and driver will need help unloading if the piece is large. Shipping Rate
Pick Up is available for those who wish to use their own vehicle to pick up their order. Or arrange their own freight company to pick up from our facilities. Our loading docks are located in Mississauga, Ontario and can accomodate any size vehicle.
Free shipping is Berkshire Furniture's complementary program to customers in GTA (Greater Toronto Area). We offer this service for customers who buy 5 pieces or more of our listed items through out our website. Free shipping does not included set up and debris removal. We might require the customers to help with driver in unloading furniture.

Question: What is Form 5106 and why I need to fill and file this form?
Answer: As a US Citizen, you of course can order items online from
Canada and ship it to your address in United States of America and therefore you become an Importer.
Your items either small or large in value, may have to be cleared (any purchase over $200.00 present limit), through US customs. We have brokers who act on behalf of retailer and carrier who clear your merchandise from customs.
It depends on how your shipment is sent a broker may need to file different documents, if by land for example the broker will be able to clear your shipment only with your provided social security number.
But some shipments of smaller scales are sent by air and may require one more step of entry in US Customs by filling out form 5106.
This form is requested only if broker finds that you have never been entered as an importer into customs data.
In reality this is a good thing, since in the future if you wished to buy other things you do not need to fill this form since you will be on the list.
At present time customers (Importers), who are not on the list of US CUSTOMS, need to fill form 5106, photo copy their social security card and a drivers license (same address as you live), and send this by e-mail (better choice) or fax to a custom entry specialist.
When initially ordering your furniture you do not have to fill and send these forms, because you may not need it or you do not know who will be your broker.
If needed, our customs brokers will contact you by e-mail or by phone to explain to you and will send you the form. The form is also on our website and can be down loaded.
